Alumni of the Five Year Program, Academic Advancement Program (AAP) and Center for Academic Excellence are especially invited to return to your Alma Mater during UW Homecoming week to join us begin a new tradition, the Alumni Celebration Dinner. The focus of this year’s event is the 50th Anniversary of the Five Year Program which was later renamed the Academic Advancement Program and is known today as the Center for Academic Excellence.

A plated dinner with formal program remarks by Chancellor Rebecca Blank, L&S Dean John Karl Scholz, and Vice Provost for Diversity and Climate Patrick Sims. Former Directors of the Five Year Program, the late Ruth B. Doyle and Dr. Jim Bough, will be recognized, with former Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle on hand to accept recognition on behalf of his late mother. Also recognized will be former Program Directors, staff, students, and alumni.

Celebration with music provided by a DJ
CostThis event costs $25.00 per person ($15.00 for recent graduates from 2012 and on). Both the reception and social will have cash bars and will feature a signature drink (Bucky-tini or Bucky-jito). A photo booth and a photographer will be on hand to take photos and document this momentous event.
