General Requirements

  • Wisconsin resident for tuition purposes
  • At least sophomore standing, having completed twenty-four degree credits in the previous academic year, and maintained Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) through the  Financial Aid Office
  • Self-identification as African-American, Hispanic, Native American (or American Indian) or Southeast Asian of Vietnamese, Cambodian or Laotian descent

Academic Requirements

  • Full-time enrollment status (12 degree credits)
  • Academic GPA of 2.0 or above

Engagement Requirements

  • Meeting with academic or program advisor three times per year
  • Attending one informational and financial literacy presentation per year
  • Engaging in a High-Impact Practice

Required Applications

  • Completing Free Application for Federal Student Aid [FAFSA] awarding process. Note: Expected Family Contribution [EFC] as determined by FAFSA cannot equal or exceed $15,000
  • Complete and submit Lawton application
