Dates for CAE Early Arrival Fall 2022 will be shared in the coming months.
CAE students will be moving into their residence halls early and participating in some activities the week before classes start. Dates for early arrival will be shared in the coming months.
This will be an opportunity for us to welcome you all to CAE and campus, connect with staff, faculty, peer mentors, and our campus partners, and start developing connections with each other. Early Arrival activities are required for CAE students unless otherwise noted. Please familiarize yourself with the schedule and email your CAE advisor if you have any questions, concerns, or any potential scheduling conflicts with campus work training, etc.
Also, every student will attend one Group Advising with their assigned CAE advisor on Tuesday or Thursday, so find your advisor and the time associated with that meeting. You only need to attend the one that has your advisor listed. Please bring a laptop with you or let us know if you need one.
Your Wiscard (student ID) will be loaded with money for you to buy meals Sunday through Thursday when we aren’t providing you food.
- Amount on cards: Students living in UW-Housing have about $49 on their cards and non-Housing students have $72. Housing students receive a discount on meals so the amounts are comparable.
- Click here to find Union, Housing, and other dining locations where you can use your Wiscard.
COVID-19 is very much a concern for us as we start the year and we are striving to keep everyone as safe as possible. Campus now requires masks inside all buildings on campus. This schedule may change or be adjusted to accommodate the situation. If you have any health and/or safety concerns, speak with your CAE advisor so we can accommodate you. Keep an eye on your email for updates and information. If you need additional resources related to COVID-19, please visit covidresponse.wisc.edu.
Move-in Questions?
UW-Housing should have communicated instructions for move-in to you. If you have any Housing concerns or about your residence hall move-in, please contact them directly at:
