The College of Letters & Science offers the opportunity for all dropped L&S undergraduate students to appeal their academic suspension status for immediate readmission through a process called faculty appeals. The College understands that sometimes special circumstances lead to students being dropped by the University and that their academic performance over the past year might not represent their abilities to be successful. (Please note CAE students should consult with a CAE assistant dean or advisor.)
L&S students who have been dropped from the UW-Madison and who IMMEDIATELY wish to appeal their dropped status, please contact the Academic Deans’ Services (information listed below) for information on the deadlines and L&S Appeal documentation.
