Diana C. Famakinwa
Academy Program Coordinator
Diana Famakinwa is the Program Coordinator for the Academy, a pre-professional initiative in the College of Letters and Science Center for Academic Excellence. Diana is also a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Policy Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she focuses on Comparative and International Education. She earned a B.A. in English (with teacher certification) from Northern Illinois University, an Ed.M. in Educational Leadership from Washington State University, and an M.A. in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. For over ten years, Diana has worked in various capacities, assessing and improving students’ educational experiences and outcomes. She enjoys conducting research, traveling, and immersing herself in African literature.
